We're now recruiting for a Navigator to support disabled Māori and whānau to make their dreams a reality. We are especially interested in people who have knowledge of Te Ao Māori and who are aware of the strengths and complexities of being disabled and Māori.

NAVIGATION COMING SOON
We are excited to announce that we will soon be able to offer Navigation to whānau in Waitaha. Our Whānau Ora Navigator will work with disabled Māori and whānau to help them find pathways to achieve their goals and aspirations. They will also support individuals and whānau to find their voice and advocate for themselves.

How can a Navigator support you?
Our Whānau Ora Navigator can work with you and your whānau to:
Help you meet immediate needs
Give you the confidence, knowledge and supports to be Māori first
Ensure that you have the up-to-date information you need to navigate disability and support systems
Connect you with other whānau who know what it’s like.

Kitchen Table Network for Whanau
Care Matters will be running a series of free hui for whānau and carers of disabled Māori family members. The aim of these hui is to grow leadership, whanaungatanga and to influence issues important to you and your whānau member/s.
